Kiva.org
In class today Faith, Chase, and Ben took the test they missed on Friday. Maddie also forgot to bring in her food for class and everyone was disappointed. Then Mr. Schick showed us a website called kiva.org where we can lend money to those in need. If we write an essay answering the questions on the rubric then we will be able to earn extra credit. If we make a loan we will also earn extra credit and if most of our class makes a loan beating the other classes then we will get five more points. We will be able to earn fifteen extra credit points if we accomplish all three things. Mr Schick also showed us how to make a loan on the website and some people who want a loan including how much money he or she needs to accomplish their goal. The project is due on Monday, November 27 and should be posted as a blog.
